The Vine meets at 600 Gregory Ln in Fairfield, CA 94533 — the same building we gather in every Sunday morning and most Wednesday nights. Fairfield is the Solano County seat, and this church has been part of it for a long time.

If you live here, you are not choosing a church in another town. You are choosing one whose volunteers clean a stretch of West Texas Street, set up a booth at the downtown festival every August, and fill their own parking lot with candy every fall.

Where we are in town

There is a parking lot on site at 600 Gregory Ln. It is free, and on a normal Sunday there is still a space when you arrive. If your map app knows the address, it knows where we are — the directions button on this page will open it.

Our church family comes from across the city: Cordelia, Green Valley, Rancho Solano, and the streets around downtown, among others. Fairfield is not a large city, and nobody in it lives more than a short drive from a Sunday service here.

A base town, and a church that knows it

Travis sits on Fairfield's doorstep, and that shapes this church whether or not you are connected to the base yourself. Families arrive on orders and leave on orders, so we have learned to make belonging quick rather than earned.

If you are stationed at Travis, or married to someone who is, there is a page below written for exactly that.

What we do in Fairfield during the week

We have adopted West Texas Street through the City of Fairfield's Adopt-A-Street program. Our volunteers walk it through the year clearing litter, and report back to the city on the condition of signs and fencing.

Each August we set up at the downtown Tomato & Vine Festival with a free photo booth and an open offer to pray. Nobody pays for a photo, and nobody has to be prayed for to get one. Every fall the Gregory Lane parking lot fills with decorated trunks, bounce houses, and far too much candy for Trunk or Treat.

Year-round we pack and hand out food boxes and bags for unhoused neighbors in Fairfield and Suisun City. There is nothing to qualify for. Someone is hungry, we have food, and the two facts belong together.

What a Sunday here looks like

Worship starts at 11:00am and runs a little over an hour. There is coffee, there is singing, and then Pastor Amos Sikele preaches — usually working through a book of the Bible passage by passage rather than hopping between verses. The point of the hour is Jesus, not the hour.

Branches Kids, our children's ministry, runs during the service, and Alive Youth, our student ministry, meets for middle and high schoolers. Midweek, Abide Groups gather on Wednesdays at 6:30pm, and our young adults have Table Nights on Mondays and Thrive Nights through the year.

Come as you are. You will see jeans and you will see Sunday best, and nobody is keeping score.
